The Territory Government is the only jurisdiction to provide child care subsidy to offset child care costs for families.
The subsidy is paid directly to licensed childcare centres, and provides
- $27.37 per week for a child under two, or $1433 per year for full time care
- $20.20 per week for a child over two, or $1050 per year for full time care.
