Pensioners and seniors

The Territory Government is committed to making the Territory a great place to live for people of all ages. There are a range of initiatives and grants in place to help pensioners and senior Territorians continue to participate in the community and experience and benefit from the great Territory lifestyle.

Pensioners, carers and aged war veterans in the Territory can access the Pensioner and Carer Concession Card to take advantage of discounts on a range of services.

Territory seniors can access the Seniors Card, part of an Australia wide initiative jointly supported by the Northern Territory Government and private enterprise. The Seniors Card is on offer to any permanent Territory resident 60 years of age or older.
