Working Future. A Territory Government Initiative

The NT Government aims to substantially increase the number of early childhood qualified teachers over the next several years, and is encouraging early childhood educators to use this scholarship program. The scholarships are part of the NT Early Childhood Workforce Plan (pdf 1.2 mb).
The scholarships are available for early childhood educators, teachers and school support staff to upgrade their qualification and or to specialise in early childhood education. Early childhood educators, school support staff and teachers working in licensed NT children’s services or NT schools are eligible to apply.
The amount of support available depends on the qualification undertaken. Scholarships generally assist with costs in relation to course fees, books and study and practicum time.
Applications are now open. For more information and to apply please visit the Centre for School Leadership, Learning and Development website.
